After the first results of the flash electoral of the second round of the Peruvian presidential election were announced, which showed a minimal difference between Keiko Fujimori and Roberto Sánchez, the leader of Fuerza Popular called on her supporters and representatives to remain vigilant during the vote counting and processing of ballots.
The vice president of Fuerza Popular, Luis Galarreta, stated that the electoral day does not conclude with the closing of the polling stations and emphasized that a fundamental stage begins to ensure the correct counting of the votes. He asserted that this is the moment when the representatives must play a key role in supervising the counting.

For her part, Keiko Fujimori directed a direct message to the party representatives deployed across the country. The leader defined them as “warriors for democracy” and urged them to remain vigilant during the vote counting to ensure that each vote is correctly recorded. She also asked to report any incidents to the electoral authorities and to the party's internal channels.
The statements come in a context of extreme electoral parity. The Datum flash electoral gave a minimal advantage to Keiko Fujimori, but the difference was within the statistical margin of error, leading various media to classify the scenario as a technical tie.
From Fuerza Popular, they insisted that the priority is to ensure that the citizens' decision expressed at the polls is reflected in the official results that will be published by the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE). The party avoided declaring an early victory and chose to focus its efforts on monitoring the counting.

The call for electoral vigilance is also part of a strategy that Keiko Fujimori herself had promoted during the campaign, when she asked her representatives to document and carefully observe the counting process to reinforce electoral transparency.
As the official results continue to arrive, the Peruvian election is shaping up to be one of the most closely contested in recent decades. In this context, both Fuerza Popular and Juntos por el Perú have urged caution to their supporters and are awaiting the progress of the counting to know who will occupy the presidency of the country for the coming years.
