Kirchnerist Violence: Francos assured that the opposition is behind the disturbances

The Government denounces a plan orchestrated by Kirchnerism and the left to sow chaos in the streets.

After the disturbances in downtown Buenos Aires, the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, issued a harsh warning about the recent violent protests in Congress: "There are political movements aimed at destabilizing the Government".

In a live interview with Infobae, he denounced that the disturbances were led by organized barrabravas and financed by opposition sectors, directly linking them with Kirchnerism and the left.

The incidents erupted during a demonstration that, under the pretext of "defending retirees," included numerous violent groups.

"This whole setup with the barras was completely prepared, and they used the few retirees who go to protest with every right", explained Francos, who emphasized that these groups "are a mafia" with political and economic backing from the shadows.

The outcome of the day highlighted the level of planned aggression: at least 100 arrested, six injured officers—including one shot and another with an open fracture—and material damage such as the burning of a patrol car at the intersection of Avenida de Mayo and Santiago del Estero.

The brutality of the scene confirms what the Ministry of Security had already anticipated: the violent left and Kirchnerism would be present.

However, Milei's Government made it clear that it will not be extorted. "The government is absolutely firm", stated Francos, reaffirming the work of the security forces in reclaiming order and the streets for the citizens.

In this regard, he emphasized that, unlike previous administrations, in these first months of the libertarian administration "the conflicts were ordered and the street was reclaimed for the people".

The disturbances in Congress

At the start of the incidents, the barrabravas, unions, and opposition parties blocked the street, while the security forces tried to contain their advance and prevent traffic disruption.

In this context, incidents occurred, with attacks from the protesters on the federal forces using stones, sticks, and blows.

These violent groups, aligned with the left, violently attacked the officers deployed by Javier Milei's Government, whose goal was to ensure law and order. In response, the police used water cannons and motorcycles to restore normalcy.
