The cumbia singer faces a new complaint for making threats against his neighbor Darío Gastón Torres

Elián Valenzuela, known artistically as L-Gante, is once again making headlines for legal reasons. In recent hours, the cumbia 420 musician was reported by his neighbor Darío Gastón Torres, who accused him of having threatened to kill him. This is the same man who previously reported him and, after a legal process, managed to have the singer sentenced to two years and six months of suspended prison.
The complaint was revealed by journalist Pampa Mónaco on the program Mujeres argentinas. "Elián Valenzuela threatened Torres with death. Who is Torres? His accuser. The same one who took him to court and because of whom L-Gante was detained for 100 days at the DDI", the reporter detailed. The current situation complicates the artist's outlook, since the new episode once again brings him before the courts on the same charge for which he was already convicted: threats.
The incident that prompted the new complaint occurred on Monday, September 8, around 7:30 a.m., in the Bicentenario neighborhood of General Rodríguez, where both reside. According to Torres's testimony, that day he was leaving his home when he came across a red Audi R8 driven by Valenzuela.

It was at that moment when, according to the judicial account, the singer allegedly issued a strong threat: "I'm watching you. Don't act smart. I'm going to beat you up, I'm going to have you killed", cites the complaint that was read on air by Mónaco. The words, spoken in a context of previous tension between the two, once again raised alarms.
The relationship between L-Gante and Darío Gastón Torres is marked by a history of conflict. Both have been neighbors for years in the same neighborhood, and their confrontations have gone beyond the personal to become a high-profile legal dispute. The first complaint against Valenzuela arose after a fight in a nightclub in General Rodríguez, where, according to Torres, he was threatened with a weapon and forced to get into a vehicle along with a woman.
Although that part of the accusation could not be proven in court, the Oral Criminal Court No. 3 of Mercedes did consider the crime of coercive threats to be proven, so the artist received a suspended prison sentence, a condition that could now be at risk if the courts determine that he has reoffended.
