Luis Ventura revealed Maradona's most unexpected romance with a woman 17 years younger

Luis Ventura once again shook the entertainment world with an unexpected revelation: Diego Armando Maradona is said to have had a secret romance with Silvina Luna, an actress and model who passed away in 2023. According to the journalist, the relationship was intense, although it remained in the shadows, and was marked by secret meetings and high-value gifts.

The confession took place during the special broadcast of the show Secretos Verdaderos, dedicated to Luna's legacy two years after her death. It was there that Ventura surprised the audience with a statement that left the panel speechless: "I'm going to share something that surely some of you already know. You know she was a great love of Diego Armando Maradona."

The person who provided more information about this alleged love story was Cora Debarbieri, a panelist on the program, who recalled a striking anecdote.  "One day he showed up at the theater and said 'Long live Luna!' He sent her a white gold chain," she stated.

That gesture, seemingly innocent, is said to have been just one of the many displays of generosity from the football star toward the actress.

Ventura went further and detailed: "There was also a watch, there was everything. What had to happen, happened. In fact, I'll tell you that a very well-known lawyer lent his apartment to Maradona so he could meet with Silvina."

At this point, the journalist explained how they managed to hide the relationship from public view.  "A smokescreen was created around Nazarena Vélez. Everyone was looking at Nazarena, and the real story was with Silvina, during the time of El champán las pone mimosas," he pointed out.

Although Ventura admitted he did not remember if Maradona was in a relationship at that time, he asserted that the romance existed and that the meetings were "very intense and very passionate." In his account, he also allowed himself a note of caution:  "I could give more details, but I'd rather not because I would be involving people I don't want to complicate."

According to Ventura, the expensive gifts were not just an expression of affection, but also a sign of the emotional impact Luna had on the number ten: "They also reflected what Maradona was experiencing with Silvina."
