Marcela Tauro is preparing to take on the hosting of her own show on América TV. The news was confirmed weeks ago by journalist Lucca Melpi, a former member of Team Ubfal, through his social media.

"Exclusive: Marcela Tauro will have her own weekly show on América TV," Melpi announced. He also detailed that it could air on Sunday afternoons or evenings, in direct competition with Implacables. The production will be handled by @JotaxTV.

When will Marcela Tauro's new show premiere?

From the portal Show de Noticias they confirmed that the show will debut in April. Although there is no exact date yet, the broadcast channel plans for it to air on Saturdays at 6 p.m.

Tauro's arrival as a host comes in a context of renewal at América TV. In December 2024, the channel decided to cancel Team Ubfal, the show led by Laura Ubfal. Now, the journalist will have a new space in the line-up.

The new cycle of Marcela Tauro will feature a team of entertainment journalism figures. According to Show de Noticias, Laura Ubfal, Guido Záffora, and Karina Iavícoli will be part of the panel.

Additionally, the show will have a field reporter. The chosen one is Oliver Quiroz, who currently works on A la tarde.

With more than two decades of experience, Marcela Tauro is one of the most recognized journalists in the field. She is currently part of No está todo dicho, the radio show by Guido Kaczka on La 100, and also works as a panelist on Intrusos.
