A member of Maroon 5 was found talking to minors.
The former bassist was reported by his partner, whom he allegedly assaulted after she discovered the messages
Mickey Madden, one of the original members of the renowned band Maroon 5, was accused by his ex-partner Kate Bowman, who claims he assaulted her in the residence they shared.
However, an investigation conducted by MDZ magazine left fans of the American band perplexed. According to the facts recounted by the woman, the argument took place on Monday, July 21, after she saw that the musician's cell phone contained explicit messages with minors.
Enraged because he had been discovered, Mickey, according to his wife's statements, cornered her in the house and threw her against the kitchen table, and when she tried to escape the situation, he chased her in his underwear to the outside of their residence, where he attacked her again.

Frightened by everything she was experiencing, the woman managed to escape as best she could and took refuge in the home of some close friends, who helped her file the corresponding complaint against the former Maroon 5 member.
The woman also presented to the court messages that the musician sent her after the incident in which he apologized for hitting her and begged her to return. What shocked everyone, however, is that in the messages the man himself confessed to having had sexual chats. He swore he would seek professional help to stop his "sex addiction."
In the complaints filed by Bowman, she requests that the authorities grant her a restraining order to limit any kind of physical approach by the musician. In addition to other requests, the woman also asked to be able to take her two Siberian dogs, which would have remained in the man's custody.
In 2020, the bassist had already faced a similar domestic violence case with another of his partners. This episode reportedly led Maroon 5's own members to request his immediate departure from the group, due to the negative image this represented for their international tours.
However, less than 5 years after this incident, the story repeated itself once again and the man could end up behind bars.
