A massive hack on Twitter affects millions of users worldwide
According to businessman Elon Musk, owner of X, the failures were caused by a massive worldwide cyberattack.
Throughout Monday, the social network X has experienced massive global failures that have hindered the normal functions of the application. According to the head of the United States Government Efficiency Department, Elon Musk, it also affects the artificial intelligence system "Grok."
Since early on, the loading of any material, as well as the viewing of content, has been completely interrupted. According to Musk, over the past few days, the social network's servers have received numerous attacks.
However, the businessman also highlighted that today the attacks were reportedly coordinated using various resources to achieve a higher level of effectiveness.

Although there is currently no confirmed absolute perpetrator, Musk also warned that there could be a terrorist group, or a country behind these attacks.
Meanwhile, a group called "Dark Storm Team" has claimed responsibility for the cyberattack through the social network "Telegram," where they stated they were behind multiple attacks on the social network today.
This cyber terrorism group has already coordinated numerous attacks against various social networks, and its history links it to terrorist organizations like Hamas.

Dark Storm Team, a hacker collective created in 2023, is known for its advanced cyber warfare tactics. With a pro-Palestinian agenda, the group has attacked highly secure systems and last month promised to launch cyberattacks against NATO countries, Israel, and nations supporting Israel.
In a recent post on Telegram, they claimed responsibility for a DDoS attack against X, stating they had "taken the platform offline." The post included a screenshot showing failed connection attempts from multiple global locations, confirming their involvement in the cyberattack.
