Mauro Icardi rekindled controversy after releasing a strong statement against Wanda Nara and Maxi López on his Instagram account, due to the complaint they filed against him for alleged mistreatment of one of their children. In his message, the footballer made clear his discomfort with various accusations and situations that have arisen in his environment over the past few months.
The Galatasaray player expressed his doubts about the violence allegations that Wanda filed against him, questioning the consistency of the facts. "It wasn't clear to me if the one accusing me of violence is the same one who writes to me to go see the 3 kids... exact words, because I raised them and they call me Dad", he commented. He also highlighted a series of contradictions, such as the fact that Wanda showed up at his home two days after filing the complaint, without there seeming to be a connection between the events.
The message also included criticisms of the legal handling of the situation. "The same one who violated every resolution of a judge and a child advocate, but since it wasn't convenient for her, she wants to change jurisdiction", Icardi continued. In this regard, he questioned the constant changes of lawyers and legal decisions of his ex-wife, suggesting that she might be poorly advised by her lawyers.
