While he spends on politics, Kicillof wants to use IMF money for Bahía Blanca.
The ultra-Kirchnerist governor asked President Milei to allocate part of the agreement with the IMF for the city.
In a predictable speech in the populist strategy that characterizes his administration, Axel Kicillof, the ultra-Kirchnerist governor of the province of Buenos Aires, went wild by asking President Javier Milei to allocate part of the agreement with the IMF to Bahía Blanca.
During a press conference held in the city with the Kirchnerist mayorFederico Susbielles, Kicillof requested that Milei's Government allocate a portion of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) exclusively for the reconstruction of the city.
"I hope that a portion of the credit is not used for speculation, for gambling, that it is used for matters like this, for the reconstruction of the city of Bahía," said Kicillof, directly responsible for Argentina facing debts greater than 40 billion dollars due to his incompetence.

In stark contrast to President Javier Milei's stance, the Buenos Aires governor emphasized the importance of the "presence of the State" and "public works" as the only possible solution to the crisis. However, if there is something that has been demonstrated in Bahía Blanca, it is that there is no greater scam than the supposed "present State."
Additionally, in his speech, the governor stressed that, according to him, without the direct intervention of the provincial government, the city could not overcome the effects of the disaster.
Among the measures announced, Kicillof highlighted the provision of subsidies, subsidized rate loans for families and businesses, and a series of tax benefits, including the exemption from urban property tax for a year, initiatives that can do little in the face of the magnitude of the disaster in the city.
Kicillof's request to President Javier Milei to meet to discuss the use of IMF funds is undoubtedly a delusional political move to taunt the national Government.
Meanwhile, Kicillof continues to contradict his urgency speech, spending billions of pesos on ideological policies such as gender.

While asking for more funds from the national government for the city's reconstruction, he has not hesitated to maintain, and even expand, the budget allocated to programs related to the gender and political agenda, such as hormone centers and official advertising, extravagant expenses that could have been redirected to address the immediate needs of those affected.
The national Government's aid
Meanwhile, Milei's Government acted quickly and efficiently in the face of the tragedy in Bahía Blanca, immediately sending 10 billion pesos in financial assistance and security reinforcements through the Armed and Security Forces to ensure the order and protection of affected citizens.
In parallel, many city residents report that, despite having suffered the devastating consequences of the storm in Bahía Blanca, they were denied help from the municipality due to their lack of affiliation with Kirchnerism, using this tragedy as a means to benefit in party image.
