President Javier Milei landed in Israel on Monday and began an official visit marked by strong political and symbolic gestures. Upon arriving in Jerusalem, the president went to the Western Wall (Kotel), where he experienced a moment of deep emotion and reaffirmed his unconditional support for the State of Israel.
Accompanied by his sister and Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, by Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein, and by the Argentine ambassador to Israel, Axel Wahnish, Milei was received with songs and displays of affection from citizens present at the sacred site. Visibly moved, the head of state expressed his position without mincing words:
"I want you to know that my support for Israel comes from the heart, because I believe it is the just cause and it is the cause of the West. I will always stand by your side."
A trip with a political, diplomatic and strategic agenda
The official visit includes a series of high-level meetings and key announcements to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Argentina and Israel. Among the main planned activities are:
Meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which issues of cooperation in security, technology and trade will be addressed.
Meetings with relatives of Argentine victims of the October 7 attacks, as a sign of empathy and support for the Israeli people in the face of terrorism.
