This allows for a reduction in public spending and progress toward lower taxes for all Argentines

The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, released new official data this Monday on the reduction of public employment achieved through October 2025, as part of the State reduction plan promoted by the administration of Javier Milei.
Through his X account, the official published an updated chart showing the cuts achieved in different state areas and accompanied the information with a forceful message: "CHAINSAW. Less public spending = lower taxes. VLLC!"
The reduction of public employees is not only necessary to reduce spending and allow for a greater tax reduction, but also to remove the large number of “ñoquis” and activist employees that Kirchnerismo incorporated during its governments.

According to the published figures, the centralized and decentralized administration recorded a decrease of 34,765 state employees, while state-owned companies reduced their staff by 17,778 people. In the case of military and security personnel, the data show a decrease of 7,381 people. In total, the reduction amounts to 59,924.

The figures published by Sturzenegger come at a time when the Government of Javier Milei is already working on planning a new phase of the state reorganization process, aimed at deepening structural cuts during 2026.
The intention is to move toward a smaller State, with lower spending and greater administrative efficiency, always under the premise that reducing public spending paves the way for future tax reductions.
Chief of Cabinet Manuel Adorni and Sturzenegger himself are coordinating the next steps of this strategy, which will be implemented across different agencies. From Balcarce 50, the direction of the plan is summarized with a clear definition: "The chainsaw is constant".
The new stage, according to reports, could involve an additional reduction of "another 10%" of state personnel, although no final number is officially specified, since monitoring is ongoing and depends on the evolution of each structure.

The Government keeps a monthly evaluation scheme that reviews functions, overlaps, contracts, and performance within the national State. This mechanism makes it possible to identify areas that remain oversized or that carry inherited structures that do not align with the needs of a modern administration.
President Javier Milei's instructions are direct: move toward "a more efficient State", eliminating unnecessary agencies and reducing expenses that for years were considered untouchable.
The libertarian administration emphasizes that the ultimate goal is not only to reduce the size of the State, but to transform it so that it fulfills essential functions without overburdening the taxpayer.
