Milei's government warns the violent: 'The police will repress'
This message appeared on the train station screens
On the eve of this Wednesday's opposition march, Javier Milei's government issued a strong message through the screens at train stations, warning that "the police will suppress any attack against the Republic."
"Protest is not violence," says the phrase chosen by Casa Rosada to headline the statement, which appeared on the boards where service schedules are usually reported.
This announcement is being disseminated a few hours before a new demonstration by Kirchnerism and the far left, under the pretext of "defending retirees," scheduled for 5 PM, and following the attempted coup d'état that occurred last week, and which may possibly be repeated today.
"The Security Forces must, as far as possible, pacify and regain control of the streets. There may be injuries in that process, both among the officers and those committing a crime," explained the Executive.

The details of the operation were defined this Tuesday at Casa Rosada, in a meeting led in the office of Santiago Caputo, the main advisor to Javier Milei, with the participation of the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich; the Secretary of State Intelligence (SIDE), Sergio Neiffert; and the Chief of Intelligence Operations, Diego Kravetz.
After the meeting, the ruling party anticipated that there will be street blockades in the City and an increase in controls at railway and road access points.
These measures will be under the command of the unified command, led by the Gendarmerie, the Federal Police, the Coast Guard, and the Airport Security Police. Covert operations will also be deployed under the supervision of SIDE, as occurred last week.

Regarding the presence of officers, it is expected that Milei's government will deploy more than a thousand federal agents, who will work in coordination with the Buenos Aires City Police.
