Milei will participate in the inauguration of a large evangelical temple and it was filled with people.
Called 'Portal del Cielo,' it is the largest evangelical temple in the country
This Saturday, President Javier Milei will attend a religious event in the province of Chaco, organized by one of the largest and most influential evangelical congregations in Latin America.
Two hours before the start, the venue is filled with people waiting for the president's arrival. This is his first official visit to the province since he took office as president, as part of the inauguration of the new temple of the International Christian Church, called "Portal del Cielo," with a capacity to accommodate 15,000 seated people.
The activity is part of the World Congress "Invasion of God's Love," a Christian leadership gathering that will take place over two days, with the main expectation centered on the presence of the head of state.
Although it has not yet been confirmed whether Milei will deliver a speech, his attendance is scheduled between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with free admission for the public.
Milei's participation is expected to take place at the close of the inaugural event, after the plenary sessions and workshops scheduled for the day. The central message will be delivered by renowned international pastor Guillermo Maldonado, former spiritual advisor to Donald Trump and founder of the El Rey Jesús Ministry, based in Miami.
The event
The magnitude of the event led the government of the province of Chaco to deploy a large security operation, which will include at least 120 police officers and a 656-foot (200-meter) security perimeter around the temple, according to official sources.
Meanwhile, President Milei's protection will be handled by the Military House, which will also coordinate his transfer from the airport to the venue, located approximately 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) from the city.

The "Portal del Cielo" is the result of more than ten years of construction work, financed entirely "with cash funds," according to pastor Jorge Ledesma.
The building, he said, was driven by a prophetic revelation he received 17 years ago. The new temple, located in the city of Resistencia, stands as the largest evangelical auditorium in Argentina and one of the most important in Latin America.

The International Christian Church was founded in 1994 by Jorge and Alicia Ledesma, with an initial congregation of only 12 people. Currently, the community exceeds 25,000 weekly attendees and claims to have 50,000 active members.
Their messages focus on healing, miracles, spiritual growth, and personal transformation. Ledesma, considered an "apostle" by his followers, has been awarded honorary doctorates in Theology and Chaplaincy by CELA International University.
In addition to its religious work, the church develops a network of community kitchens, collaborates with donations, and carries out social initiatives in underprivileged areas. During the pandemic, they distributed 80 metric tons of food.

Milei's agenda
Around 4:00 p.m., President Javier Milei will arrive at the Resistencia International Airport "José de San Martín," where he will be received by the governor of Chaco, Leandro Zdero, an ally of La Libertad Avanza.
In the most recent local elections, the ruling party in Chaco joined the coalition "Chaco Puede + La Libertad Avanza," an alliance that managed to defeat the Peronism led by Jorge Capitanich.
