The National Government eliminated 60 forms from the current regime of the Automotive Registry as part of the modernization and administrative simplification process. The measure was announced by the Ministry of Justice, which estimated an annual savings of more than $2.697 billion for citizens. In addition, it reaffirmed the goal of moving toward a 100% digital registry system.
According to details provided by the Justice Ministry, the eliminated forms correplied to unnecessary procedures that users had to complete for registration, transfer, reports, or certifications, which made the process more expensive without providing operational value.

Direct savings for citizens and greater efficiency
According to official figures, the impact of the measure represents an average savings of $20,000 per procedure, which in total reaches $2,697,239,989 annually. If the forms eliminated during 2025 are also taken into account, the total savings per operation could climb to about $80,000.
Among the eliminated documents are import certificates, requests for ownership reports, and forms related to taxes and license plate debts. Also, sales reports and various administrative procedures that, from now on, will no longer be required.
"We eliminated unnecessary procedures that only took money away from Argentines", officials from the Ministry of Justice stated. At the same time, they emphasized that this stage of the process significantly reduces bureaucracy and costs associated with a system historically based on the intensive use of physical forms.
The Secretary of Justice, Sebastián Amerio, explained that with this decision "registry elements and forms were reduced by 50%", consolidating a deep transformation of the traditional Automotive Registry framework.
