"Chino Martínez is the one I talk to the most. I'm very forgetful with the phone, but he's the one I talk to the most because of the relationship we had at Fiorentina. He occasionally nudges me to go to River, I play dumb and tell him not yet, maybe a little later," said the former Argentinos Juniors player with a laugh.

Martínez Quarta and González shared a squad at Fiorentina for 4 years and maintain a great relationship. In fact, in January of this year, before returning to River, the defender gave the forward a club jersey.

In a joking tone, González also joked about his possible arrival at the team: "Where would I play here, who would you take out? haha," he replied when asked about the chance of joining the Millonario.

Loaned until mid-year at Juventus, but with a contract until June 30, 2029, to permanently move from Fiorentina to La Vecchia Signora, for now, the forward's immediate future remains tied to Europe. Despite this, the 26-year-old forward has already expressed on more than one occasion his desire to play for River at some point in his career. When that day comes, the club will surely open its doors for him to fulfill his dream.
