Nicole Neumann chose Punta del Este to celebrate New Year’s Eve with her daughters and Cruz, the son she had with Manu Urcera. Although she shared different family snapshots from the Uruguayan coast, a detail that is already recurring once again drew her followers’ attention: the model avoids showing the baby’s face on social media. In response to the insistence and criticism, she decided to speak clearly and explain, once again, the reasons behind that choice.

In an interview with Gente magazine, the host acknowledged that the issue generates mixed opinions. “There are two sides. There are those who criticize because I do not show him and there are those who ask to see him because they want to get to know him, and I understand that”, she pointed out.

However, she was blunt in emphasizing that the decision reflects a conscious stance regarding the current use of digital platforms.

“Things have changed. Social media is a delicate and sometimes dangerous issue. This decision was made and what matters is that we listen to ourselves as parents”, Neumann explained, making it clear that it is a family agreement and not a passing strategy.

According to what she said, for the moment there is no set date to publicly show Cruz’s face and they prefer to keep him away from media exposure.

Despite the low profile they chose, there was an episode that did not go unnoticed by the most alert observers. In a previous post, Indiana, Nicole’s eldest daughter, shared a family picture taken in Patagonia in which the baby’s face could be seen. The snapshot circulated briefly, but it did not generate much reaction among users.

Beyond the controversy, Nicole is going through a very fulfilling personal moment. In the same conversation, she referred to her relationship with Manu Urcera and to how they manage to sustain their bond amid demanding schedules, trips, and the arrival of a child. “On December 8 we celebrated two years of marriage. We could not do much this time because he was racing and I was with the baby, but we always have some gesture”, she said.

According to what she recounted, everyday details are key to maintaining their connection: flowers, surprise breakfasts, or going out to eat when the routine allows it. “We try to find moments, even if they are small”, she summed up.
