What makes Switch 2 different?

The new console keeps the hybrid format of the original, combining handheld and tabletop modes. It features a larger screen and key improvements in graphics power and processing.

The new Joy-Con 2 controllers come with magnetic attachment and an exclusive C button to activate GameChat, the new function for voice or video chat and real-time screen sharing.

A strong launch title

Among the standout launch games, Mario Kart World stands out, which is also offered in a bundle with the console. This title was key to the initial sales figures.

Switch 2 dominated all markets. In the United Kingdom, it doubled the initial sales of the first Switch, reaching about 160,000 units in just a few days.
