Hours before the start of matchday 16 of the Torneo Clausura, a key stage in which relegations and spots for international cups will be decided, AFA and the Professional League have made official the venues and dates for the decisive matches remaining this year.
First, the Clausura 2025 final will be played on Saturday, December 13 at the Estadio Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero, a venue that has established itself as one of the main stages of Argentine football. Although the kickoff time has not been confirmed yet, a massive crowd is expected for the tournament's decisive match.

It should be noted that Madre de Ciudades will once again play a leading role in a national final. Since its inauguration, the modern stadium in Santiago del Estero has already hosted nine official finals, including the 2019 and 2022 Supercopas Argentinas, the 2021 and 2023-24 Trofeos de Campeones, the 2019-20 Copa Argentina, the 2023 and 2024 Copas de la Liga, and this year's Torneo Apertura final.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Trofeo de Campeones will take place one week later, on Saturday, December 20, at the Estadio Único de San Nicolás de los Arroyos, in the province of Buenos Aires. Platense, champion of the 2025 Torneo Apertura, already has its place secured in this major annual final, while its opponent will be the winner of the Clausura.
