"Milei plays on the edge but stays within the field. He can handle it," was one of the phrases left by economist Juan Carlos De Pablo.
"Macron calls him and says: "You, who can talk to Trump, tell him this or that," he added.
The "Professor" was in charge of closing the first day of Proyectar Córdoba.
The event that brings together the entire construction chain, organized by the Cámara Empresarial de Desarrollistas Urbanos de Córdoba (Ceduc).
"Economic policy is fiscal balance plus Federico Sturzenegger", was another of his phrases that drew applause.
One of the topics he addressed was the measure to use the "dollars under the mattress".
De Pablo made a kind of clarification for those who consider it a sort of amnesty.
"These are dollars you bought with savings when there was exchange control. They're clean from a tax perspective," he stated.
"There's no rush to take out the dollars from under the mattress," he added.
Real estate market recovery
He also referred to the recovery of the real estate market, something that requires investments and loans.
"Recreating a dynamic real estate market can take ten years," he said.
With his usual didactic and ironic tone, De Pablo left a recommendation for Córdoba developers.
"Make decisions based on Milei being president until 2027," he said as encouragement.
At the end, someone commented to him that property prices in dollars were higher in the last stretch of Alberto Fernández's administration.
"Yes, but the downside was the mess there was," he said, laughing.
