What is UPAMI and what benefits does it offer?

The National Institute of Social Services for Retirees and Pensioners (PAMI) promotes this program with the aim of encouraging the intellectual and social activity of seniors.

The courses are offered at more than 50 universities and cover topics such as:

  • Languages
  • Computer science and technology
  • Gymnastics and yoga
  • Literature and writing
  • Dance and theater
  • Crafts and handicrafts

Classes can be taken in in-person, virtual, or mixed modes, facilitating the participation of members regardless of their location.

How to enroll in PAMI's free courses?

To access UPAMI, interested parties must meet the following requirements:

  • Updated ID
  • Latest income receipt
  • PAMI membership card
  • Medical clearance (in case of enrolling in physical activities)

Enrollment is done directly at the universities participating in the program. It can also be consulted at PAMI agencies or through their official website.
