PedidosYa became embroiled in a strong controversy on social media after publishing an advertisement featuring Lucas Tresca, an actor and Kirchnerist activist who months earlier had been widely condemned for mocking a young libertarian with a physical disability.
The campaign was published on the company's official account on X, but quickly began to receive criticism from users who identified Tresca as the same young man who had gone viral for a video in which he ridiculed the physical condition of a libertarian activist. In response to the massive backlash, the company ended up deleting the post.

The incident that reignited the outrage was a video in which Tresca pretended to be a young person with a disability and made offensive comments related to his physical condition and his vote for La Libertad Avanza. In the recording, the actor mocked the lack of arms of the activist and closed the scene with a new reference to his disability, "my face itches," in a tone that was described as cruel, discriminatory, and a symbol of the moral void of Kirchnerist activism.
The condemnation at that time had been massive. Libertarian users, political leaders, and thousands of accounts on social media denounced the aggression against a person with a disability, especially because the targeted young man had asked for help to obtain a prosthesis valued at millions of pesos. Finally, thanks to the support of the community, he managed to raise the necessary funds to access the prosthesis.
