The release of the Financial Information and Analysis Unit (Uiaf) report on November 18, 2025, exposed the banking transactions of Colombian president Gustavo Petro between 2023 and 2025. Although the publication was presented as an exercise in transparency, the document ultimately revealed a network of luxury spending, million-dollar transfers, and a record that ignited political debate: a payment made at Ménage Strip Club, a well-known adult establishment in Lisbon.
The report includes account data from BBVA, Scotiabank, Banco Agrario, Confiar, and Sudameris. At BBVA alone, income of 1.313 billion pesos (2,895,000 USD) and expenses of 1.444 billion pesos (3,185,000 USD) were reported, while Uiaf documented 41 transfers totaling more than 321 million pesos (707,000 USD). Total expenses during the period reached 496 million pesos (1,093,000 USD). Among the expenditures are purchases at Gucci, Prada, Ralph Lauren, El Corte Inglés, Casa dei Tessuti, and La Rinascente; in addition to private medical payments, domiciled services, housing administration fees, and contributions to the Lycée Français. The report also lists monthly transfers to Verónica Alcocer and Ingrid Carolina Plata Navas.

However, the most controversial point is the record from Ménage Strip Club. The information coincides with the official visit Petro made to Portugal in May 2023. The director of the Salvación Nacional party, Enrique Gómez, made a harsh accusation: "Are we paying for his nighttime excesses with our taxes? This is the UIAF report." Other leaders, such as councilors Daniel Briceño and Papo Amín, openly questioned the expense. Even the writer Daniel Samper Ospina joined the criticism, while the existence of the establishment was confirmed, although it was not possible to verify whether Petro attended.
