There is less than a month left until the premiere of Predator: Badlands in theaters. The new installment of the science fiction saga puts the Predator as the absolute protagonist for the first time. Disneyand 20th Century Studios have shared the final trailer, which promises intense action and a fresh story for fans.

The story and the characters
Dek, a Yautja separated from his clan, embarks on a dangerous mission alongside Thia, a Weyland-Yutani synthetic played by Elle Fanning. Together, they must hunt down the most fearsome creature on planet Genna and put their ingenuity and strength to the test.
The confrontation with this ultimate adversary challenges their physical abilities. In addition, it puts Dek's honor and respect within his clan at stake, bringing a fresh and original air to the Predator universe.
Film dynamics and tone
Trachtenberg compared the relationship between Dek and Thia to the camaraderie of Chewbacca and C-3PO in Star Wars, combining moments of humor and tension. This new installment aims to show a more relatable Predator, with personality and personal conflicts.
