Social media exploded on Wednesday afternoon with a flood of posts criticizing Sabrina Cladera, the prosecutor who on February 1st had released the 17-year-old criminal who, this Tuesday, stole a car and killed a 7-year-old girl in La Plata.
The minor, identified as T. G., had been arrested earlier in the month for a similar incident, using the same modus operandi that Kim Gómez's mother experienced.
Kim was trapped inside the vehicle that was stolen from her mom and was run over while the car was being driven by the criminals, which caused her severe fractures and multiple injuries.
"The juvenile prosecutor involved in Kim's murder case is named Sabrina Cladera and she is the one who sent the 17-year-old home. She is proposed by Axel Kicillof to ascend to the Court of Appeals. The Buenos Aires caste chooses these pro-thief judges and prosecutors," posted legislator Florencia Arietto on X.

On February 1st, T. G. had been arrested for a similar case, when he was charged in a case for "attempted car theft." The incident occurred near Parque Saavedra, in La Plata, where a 20-year-old woman was assaulted by a group of four juvenile criminals aged between 14 and 17.
The method used was similar to Tuesday's with the Red Palio: they took advantage of the car stopping in the middle of a maneuver to force the driver to get out. Hours later, they were intercepted in Los Hornos while trying to evade a police checkpoint.
T. G. was held for only a few hours before prosecutor Cladera ordered his release and return to his parents, without even formally requesting his detention before the Juvenile Judge.
Three weeks later, he reoffended in the same way, this time with a 14-year-old accomplice, and ended up killing a 7-year-old girl. His own father turned him over to the Police and asked that he not be released again, demanding that "he rots in jail."

Prosecutor Sabrina Cladera
Cladera (48), partner of Enrique "Quique" Catani, an influential judicial operator and former labor judge of La Plata, was promoted by minister Juan Martín Mena, a camporista leader close to the Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof, to be included in the list of officials candidates for a position in the Court of Appeals of La Plata. Currently, her promotion in the provincial Justice system is still pending approval.
The prosecutor has been involved in several high-impact cases where minors were involved. In October 2024, she led the case of a 13-year-old girl who was found with a firearm in her backpack inside a school in La Plata.
The investigation was handled by UFI Joven 2, under Cladera's leadership, who ordered proceedings for "investigation of an offense." She also led the investigation in May of last year into the escape of eight teenagers from a juvenile detention center in La Plata, who escaped after breaking down a door.
The youths struggled with three security officers, who failed to contain them, and since then they have been fugitives and are being intensely sought.
In July 2018, Cladera was appointed as Prosecutor to act in the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Court of the Judicial Department, under the appointment of then-governor María Eugenia Vidal.
