La Libertad Avanza held its year-end closing event in the Punilla Department with a massive gathering last Saturday, December 27. The event brought together leaders from different towns in an atmosphere of celebration, music, and camaraderie as a balance of intense grassroots work. The gathering took place at a well-known venue in the city of Villa Carlos Paz to celebrate the growth of the movement this year.
During the day, the main ceremony took place, where certificates of merit, vocation, and work were awarded to leaders of the liberal movement. The certificates were signed by Gabriel Bornoroni, caucus leader in the Chamber of Deputies, by Deputy Gonzalo Roca, and by leader Francesca Spatola. These distinctions reward those who, throughout the 2025 cycle, sustained the political construction of the liberal force in the department.

When she took the floor, Spatola highlighted the teamwork of the departmental board made up of Tomás Cardozo, Facundo Cepeda, Franco Gallardo, and Maximiliano Tapia. The leader emphasized the commitment of each local representative, which made it possible to consolidate the party's presence in almost the entire map of the region. The coordinator recalled the strong electoral performance in Punilla, where the movement achieved a wide advantage over the figure of Juan Schiaretti.

"This gathering is a celebration of the goals that were achieved, but it is also a demonstration of everything that was built with work, conviction, and commitment," Francesca Spatola emphatically highlighted. She also thanked Gabriel Bornoroni and Gonzalo Roca for their constant support of the departmental structure and for their legislative work in Congress. This way, the organization that was achieved in numerous towns was highlighted, together with the sustained growth that the liberal political force is experiencing.
Although Punilla doesn't yet have libertarian mayors, leaders from the movement assured that the party is already preparing to deliver a major upset. The main objective is to win as many mayoralties and seats in the deliberative councils as possible throughout the department of Córdoba. Under the slogan "Punilla will be liberal", local teams are drafting proposals together with residents who are committed to transforming their own cities.

Looking ahead, leaders from the group anticipated that 2026 will be a year of major challenges in districts with traditional administrations. One of the first cities to come into play would be La Falda, where the current municipal mayor will not be able to run for another re-election. The year-end closing left a message of gratitude for the activist effort to contest local power with a strongly liberal identity.
