After years dedicated to the entertainment world, Rodrigo Lussich would be willing to make a significant turn in his career. The host has reportedly decided to close his chapter related to gossip and, as a consequence, could leave Intrusos and put an end to the television duo he maintains with Adrián Pallares.

Rumors about his departure began to gain traction in recent hours, although the possibility of a change is not completely unexpected. Some time ago, the journalist himself publicly acknowledged that he felt his journey within entertainment journalism was coming to an end.

“I am rounding off my stage with gossip, I feel that it is ending. I don't want to speak poorly of what I have lived for 20 years, but I feel that it's over. I believe there is not much more ceiling above,” he had confessed.

Now, that reflection could materialize with a new project that would take him to a different terrain: political humor. According to reports, Lussich would be in negotiations with the Kirchnerist media outlet C5N to join the channel in 2027 with his own program.

Why Rodrigo Lussich would leave Intrusos

Lussich has become one of the most recognized names in entertainment journalism after more than two decades of experience. However, at 53 years old, he has begun to consider new professional challenges.

His potential departure from Intrusos would not only respond to an offer from another channel but also to the intention to gradually abandon the format that marked a good part of his career.

The host himself had explained that there are two paths he would like to explore. The first consists of remaining at the helm of a television program, but with a much larger space to develop his humorous side.

“Saving the distances, and just to give an example, like Darío Barassi, hosting a program that allows me the personal stamp of humor,” he explained when talking about the type of project he envisions for this new stage.

His second aspiration would be directly related to political humor and monologues, a genre that has had important exponents in Argentine television and theater. “To name one, like Enrique Pinti,” Lussich pointed out while exemplifying the direction he would like to take.

The journalist also explained that his age influenced the decision to dare to explore other formats. “I am 53 years old, and after 50, I believe that the 'third life' begins, where one must do what one truly wants,” he reflected.
