
San Agustín: a man was stabbed to death after a fight over a pool game

A 38-year-old man was killed early Monday morning in the town of San Agustín, Córdoba. The incident occurred during a fight related to a game of pool. The town is located 70 kilometers (43 miles) south of the capital of Córdoba.
According to local media, the conflict began with an argument among three people. The altercation started while they were playing a game of pool. The situation escalated in violence and ended with a knife attack.
Two of those involved allegedly stabbed the third in the back. The victim was urgently taken to the local hospital. Doctors confirmed his death minutes after his arrival.

The two suspects were identified and taken into custody
After the crime, the police began investigative work to locate those responsible. Officers managed to locate the two suspects in the attack. Both were taken into custody by order of the intervening prosecutor's office.
The investigation is being led by the First Shift Investigative Prosecutor's Office of Río Tercero. The case is under the direction of Prosecutor Paula Bruera. The detainees will be questioned as part of the judicial proceedings for homicide.
Forensic examinations and procedures are ongoing to gather more evidence about the incident. The case is in its initial stage and further measures have not been ruled out. The incident caused shock in the San Agustín community.
