Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff are already on Argentine soil to begin defining the list of drafts for the June FIFA date, an atypical draft due to the significant number of absences resulting from the participation of several players in the Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, alongside his responsibilities with the National Team, the coach from Pujato, along with his collaborators  Pablo Aimar, Walter Samuel, and Roberto Ayala, joined one of the country's most significant Mountain Bike events.

This is the 29th edition of the Desafío al Río Pinto. The demanding competition, which starts and finishes in La Cumbre, covers a total of 84 kilometers (52 miles) and brings together more than 5500 cyclists, and is labeled as "the most important Mountain Bike event in this part of the continent".

"Enjoy the race, thank you very much for the invitation. Let's go all out", expressed the Albiceleste's head coach before the event, being received with an ovation by both participants and spectators.

This participation represents Scaloni's second recent foray into cycling. The previous week, he competed in the Mallorca 312, held in Spain. There, he took part in the 167-kilometer (104 miles) category, in which he finished in 17th place after completing the course in 4 hours, 54 minutes, and 11 seconds, finishing 16 minutes behind the winner of the race.
