The Star Wars community and turn-based strategy game fans have a reason to get excited: Star Wars Zero Company, the new project that will be officially presented during the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

This title promises to combine the best of Respawn Entertainment's immersive storytelling with Bit Reactor's tactical gameplay, a studio formed by veterans of Firaxis Games.

An author-stamped tactical experience

Bit Reactor, founded in 2021 by former developers of the XCOM saga, aims to revive the turn-based strategy genre with a fresh and ambitious proposal. With Star Wars Zero Company, they seek to capture the essence of complex and challenging tactical combat within the narrative universe of Star Wars.

"We aim for deep gameplay and a narrative that expands the Star Wars universe from a strategic perspective," they stated from the studio.

Meanwhile, Respawn Entertainment brings its narrative talent and innovative approach to mechanics design, already proven with titles like Jedi: Fallen Order, Titanfall, and Apex Legends. The alliance with Lucasfilm Games ensures that the content is authentic and faithful to the saga's chronology.
