From November 3 to 5, CyberMonday is taking place, an event in which many online retailers publish offers, discounts, and benefits on their products.
Fundación Ecosur, from the Córdoba Stock Exchange, conducted a survey in which it compared the prices of electronics and home appliances available on the first day of the event with those that existed at the beginning of last week, in order to identify the real magnitude of the price decrease.

On average, home appliances reduced their prices by 3.3%, while electronics products decreased by 1.7%.
If both categories are considered together, prices fell on average by 2.5%.
The discounts appear to be similar to those observed in other events of the same kind.
Comparison with Hot Sale prices
For example, in the Hot Sale last May, the same survey indicated that home appliances had decreased their prices by 2.8% on average, while electronics products had reduced their prices by 1.6% on average.

The largest decreases in the home appliances category were observed in Refrigerators (6.1%), Fans (6.7%), and Microwaves (6.4%).
In the case of electronics products, a significant reduction is only observed in the case of Keyboards (10%) and Headphones (5.9%).
Out of the total products surveyed, price reductions are observed in 49%. The drops reach up to 64% for electronics (in Keyboards) and 60% for home appliances (in Fans).
The results come from a price survey of more than 1,500 electronics and home appliances products on Mercado Libre during the first day of CyberMonday, and their comparison with the average prices in effect at the beginning of last week.
