This show, originally hosted by British actor Alan Cumming, is based on a Dutch format and takes place in a medieval castle, with stunning countryside landscapes. The competition is heavily influenced by mystery stories in the style of Agatha Christie.

The dynamic of The Traitors revolves around 20 contestants, divided into two secret groups: the "traitors" and the "faithful."
