Once again, Javier Milei's government ended up silencing the critical voices of the media opposition. This morning the journalists from Futurock FM radio - which is directed by Julia Mengolini and Federico Vázquez - had to admit that the indicators are the best in years.
"Balance of two years of Milei. We were just talking about the fact that there are data that are sometimes hard to state, that usually appear in Luis Caputo's tweets," one of the hosts of the radio show began by saying.
"Even after making many clarifications and many caveats, this is a government that very clearly reduced year-on-year inflation, reduced poverty, grew the economy and, in addition, we just found out this week that employment grew," he exclaimed, while his colleague, Iván Yabrosky, became uncomfortable when he heard a truth that they tried to hide for months.
The post quickly went viral on social media, where thousands of people agreed that month after month it is impossible for the Kirchnerist opposition to hide the historic progress that is being experienced in Argentina.
"If we have already seen how indicators improve... Moreno was a rookie compared to these," a user wrote. Another user added: "Thank you for admitting for once that the country is changing. It was time for you to tell the truth."
However, these are not the only achievements that the government has reached in record time. In December 2025 the Ministry of Economy announced that Argentina achieved the highest oil production in its history.
El avance del país quedó en evidencia en tiempo récord
In addition, a large number of advances were made to open up the entry of goods from abroad into the country. "You have 4 reasons to thank this government, then: 1. We managed to make clothing cheaper in Argentina. 2. You pay fewer taxes 3. You no longer need to buy a ticket if you want to buy cheaper clothes. You just need to know how to use the internet. 4. You can buy dollars freely to pay for it," Luis Caputo stated on X.
In addition, as if that were not enough, the trade surplus was widely positive, reaching 11.286 billion dollars. "In 2025 the trade in goods with the rest of the world grew 15.9% year-on-year and reached a total of USD 162.868 billion: exports totaled USD 87.077 billion (9.3% more than in 2024) while imports reached USD 75.791 billion (which represented an increase of 24.7% compared to the previous year)," Indec clarified.
