The reasons why Viviana Canosa accused Lizy Tagliani of 'thief'

The criminal acts allegedly occurred 10 years ago when both stars were very close

An unexpected accusation shook the Argentine entertainment world when Viviana Canosa, on her eltrece show, publicly accused Lizy Tagliani of an alleged series of thefts that occurred inside her own home. The statements, as surprising as they were explosive, left viewers stunned and caused an immediate reaction on social media and in the press.

According to the journalist and host, everything supposedly happened during a moment of extreme trust between the two. Canosa claimed that Lizy was hosted in her home for a while, and that valuable items, cash, and even personal belongings began to disappear there.

"I had a beautiful locker room, with lovely things that kept disappearing. Money from my purse that vanished. A lot of things that were no longer there," Canosa recounted, visibly upset by what happened. However, the story went further and had a breaking point: the moment she claims to have caught Tagliani in the act.

"One day, I left my bedroom door open and my purse too. I got in the shower, put on my robe, stayed in the bathtub... and saw how Mrs. Lizy Tagliani was stealing money from my purse.  She was tugging at the purse. It was an envelope with dollars," Canosa said, revealing the moment that, according to her testimony, confirmed her suspicions.

The accusations were not limited solely to the episode with the money. Canosa also reported the disappearance of personal items and household goods: "The drinks were going down, food was disappearing from the freezer, and of my Hermès scarves, when she left, out of 30, I had 10 left," she stated.

Additionally, she narrated a particular situation she experienced with Lizy, related to the death of the comedian's mother. "She called me crying and said: 'Please, I'm begging you, my mom just died, and I have a huge problem. I don't have the death certificate and I could go to jail because it looks like I killed her.' She asked me for desperate help," she recounted. Canosa claimed that, moved by trust and affection, she acted quickly to get her doctors and contacts to solve the problem.

Closing her testimony, the host made a harsh comparison: "I wish she had screwed me over with a boyfriend, like Marcela Tauro.  She screwed me over with much worse things."
