Another extortionate strike was announced at the National University of Córdoba.

This is yet another teachers' strike, and it seems they care little, if at all, about whether students learn

This Thursday and Friday there will be a new strike by the teachers at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, who are joining a national action.

What about the students? They're just fine, thank you.

The number of strikes that have taken place so far this year has already been lost count.

Judging by their actions, they don't care at all whether students learn or not.

Not only will there be a strike, there will also be demonstrations, with all the cost and inconvenience that brings to the rest of the citizens.

They claim to be protesting an adjustment, but in reality, what they don't want is for the University to be audited to find out how it spends its resources, just as Javier Milei's government requested.

Senseless strike by university teachers

The National Federation of University Teachers, Researchers, and Creators (Conadu Histórica) announced the strike through a statement.

"This project is essential to guarantee the maintenance and development of the Argentine public university system, and for that reason, we call on the entire educational community and society as a whole to join and support this collective demand in defense of a public, free, inclusive, and high-quality university," says Conadu.

"For the recovery of our salaries, for the increase of student scholarships, for more funding for science and technology, and for more funding for national universities," it adds.
