The second suspect in the murder of the 11-month-old baby in Pablo Nogués was arrested.
The arrest was possible thanks to the information provided by someone from his close circle
Cristian Barraza, the second accused in the crime of Sofía Soledad Hildebrandt, the 11-month-old baby who was brutally murdered after being run over while her mother was carrying her in her arms, was arrested in the last few hours in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo.
The tragedy occurred when three criminals were escaping after committing a home invasion in the town of Pablo Nogués, in the province of Buenos Aires, governed by the Kirchnerist Axel Kicillof, responsible for the bloodbath that is being experienced.
City Police officers intercepted him at the intersection of Figueroa Alcorta and Dorrego avenues, where he was working as a "parking attendant" near the River Plate stadium, an activity for which he had already faced multiple charges in the Buenos Aires contraventional court. Barraza's arrest was made possible thanks to information provided by a person from his close circle, who revealed his exact whereabouts.
The investigation, which was carried out with maximum urgency, was led by prosecutor José Amallo and had the collaboration of the Superintendency Region North I AMBA of the Buenos Aires Police, directed by Chief Commissioner Lucas Borge. The suspect is expected to be questioned in the coming hours.
With this capture, Barraza, 25 years old, becomes the second detainee for the crime, after Rodrigo Moreyra was arrested the same Friday the murder of the little girl occurred.

Rodrigo Moreyra, 35 years old and a resident of Pablo Nogués, had been imprisoned until November of last year after serving a sentence for robbery in the Campana prison. His two accomplices abandoned him after the accident, and he was arrested at the scene of the impact.
Additionally, last Saturday, the Buenos Aires Police arrested Cristian Barraza's mother during a raid at her home, where they found a .38 caliber revolver. Meanwhile, authorities continue to work to identify and locate a third person involved in Sofía's homicide.
The baby's crime
The three criminals were escaping from the police after having carried out a home invasion in the town of Ricardo Rojas, Tigre district. During the chase, they opened fire on a patrol car that was trying to stop them.

The criminal group had assaulted a 40-year-old woman using a 9-millimeter pistol, stolen last April in Brandsen. As loot, they took her Jeep Renegade, a baby stroller, and two million pesos in cash.
Closely followed by a Tigre COT vehicle, the fugitives returned to Pablo Nogués, their home neighborhood, intending to hide. Along the way, a young man riding a motorcycle was injured with a shot in the right ankle.
Moments later, the driver of the Jeep lost control of the vehicle. Upon reaching the intersection of Curie and Morse in Pablo Nogués, they collided with a Fiat Punto and overturned. Fortunately, the woman driving the other car was unharmed.
As a result of the crash, Sofía and her mother, Natalia Heizenrreder, who has at least two other children, were injured. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital, but the baby died shortly after.
