The United States Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, presented overwhelming evidence of a conspiracy led by former Democratic President Barack Obama and senior officials from his administration to orchestrate a coup d'état against Donald Trump.
Classified documents and statements revealed that senior members of Obama's cabinet deliberately manipulated and politicized intelligence information to discredit Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016 and attempt to overthrow him.
According to the director, official records show that before the November 2016 elections, the Intelligence Community assessed that Russia was likely not actively interfering in the electoral process through cyberattacks. However, after Trump's victory, the tone of the reports changed abruptly.

The coup d'état orchestrated by Obama
On December 9, 2016, following Trump's electoral victory, Obama convened his National Security Council, made up of senior figures such as James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, Loretta Lynch, John Kerry, and Andrew McCabe, to plan a new intelligence assessment.
From this meeting, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) prepared a report with the participation of the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the goal of documenting alleged "Russian interference" in the elections.
A few days later, Democratic outlets such as The Washington Post began publishing supposed "leaks" claiming that Russia had digitally intervened to influence the elections.
Nevertheless, Gabbard pointed out that this new assessment, published on January 6, 2017, was based on false information, including the infamous intelligence report "Steele Dossier", which was later dismissed for its apparent bias.

Time to be held accountable
Gabbard made a direct call for accountability and stated that all those involved, regardless of their power or influence, must be investigated and, if found guilty, prosecuted according to the law.
"The faith and trust of the American people in our democratic republic and, therefore, the future of our nation depend on it," she declared.
"Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and perpetrate what, in essence, was a coup d'état that lasted for years, in order to try to usurp the president and prevent him from fulfilling the mandate given to him by the American people", the former candidate asserted.
The director announced that she has already sent all the documents to the Department of Justice and urged the initiation of a thorough criminal investigation.
The accusation not only reopens serious controversies in American politics, but could also trigger a new institutional battle unprecedented in the country's modern history.
