The name being considered as Beto Casella's replacement
"A name comes to mind that could become the main figure hosting the future Bendita, and it's Tamara Pettinato. I know it's controversial," Vázquez said on Puro Show, leaving his colleagues and the audience speechless.
The journalist argued that the daughter of Roberto Pettinato "has a strong connection with the channel's executives and could secure many sponsors," and added: "This is also a money issue."
Controversy on the panel: divided opinions
His colleague Pampito did not hesitate to show his disagreement: "It's destroying a format," he stated. He also maintained that "if El Nueve's management doesn't want Beto, it's the best way to provoke him."
"I don't see it. You can put her on as a panelist, but not as a host," the panelist insisted. He then added: "The natural host of Bendita is Edith Hermida," defending his colleague and highlighting her historic role on the show.
What Beto Casella said about his future at El Nueve
The relationship between Beto Casella and El Nueve is going through a delicate moment. The host had already shown signs of discomfort by not appearing on air last July 24, being replaced by Edith Hermida. In a conversation with PrimiciasYa, he explained: "We are all probably somatizing some unfair things at the same time, that's why we weren't on air."
