The young man, who gained great popularity on the reality show, said he is going through a delicate financial moment after his recent separation from Daniela Celis, with whom he had his twin daughters.

After leaving the reality show, Thiago invested the savings he obtained in a personal venture, a greengrocer's. The business, however, did not prosper as he expected. According to his own account, he had management problems and couldn't find reliable employees, which led him to make the difficult decision to close it.
