La Libertad Avanza strengthens its presence in PBA with a walk in San Isidro

The liberal space toured San Isidro to talk with residents and learn firsthand about their main demands

This Tuesday, April 8,  La Libertad Avanza held a walk through the San Isidro district led by Sebastián Pareja as part of its territorial activities in the province of Buenos Aires. The tour included various commercial and residential areas, where representatives and activists of the space talked with residents and merchants about their daily concerns.

During the day, topics related to the economic situation, tax pressure on commerce, access to services, and security were addressed. According to the organization, the goal was to strengthen direct contact with the community and hear firsthand about local issues.

With the community as a priority

With the community as a priority, the organizers highlighted the importance of being present in the territory and creating spaces for dialogue outside the institutional framework. The activity aimed to consolidate the bond between the political space and the residents, in view of a year that will be marked by key legislative debates and an electoral calendar in some jurisdictions.

The tour was led by provincial and local leaders of La Libertad Avanza, accompanied by volunteers and activists. The reception was generally positive, and several residents approached to exchange opinions, make suggestions, or express their support.

The space reported that they will continue these types of activities in different parts of the Buenos Aires suburbs as part of a territorial strengthening strategy, with the aim of maintaining an active dialogue with the citizenry and consolidating their presence in the province.

Kicillof vs. Cristina: the battle for control of provincial Peronism

Buenos Aires Peronism is going through a stage of redefinitions where tensions between Axel Kicillof and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner have become impossible to hide. What was once a relationship of mutual convenience is now marked by distrust and divergent strategies.

Kicillof, who until recently was seen as a political protégé of Cristina, now emerges as an actor with his own aspirations and growing autonomy. His decision to separate provincial elections from national ones not only reflects an electoral move but also a symbolic distancing from the traditional leadership of Kirchnerism.

On the other side, Cristina's circle perceives this move as a threat to the authority she still tries to exert over the space. The emergence of parallel candidacies and public discursive clashes demonstrate that the dispute is no longer just tactical but also ideological and generational. In this new map, Kicillof seems to bet on building a more moderate Peronist identity, while pure Kirchnerism entrenches itself in its traditional bases. The confrontation, far from being solved, promises to escalate as the next electoral challenges approach.
