This Friday, December 19, LAM experienced a special night. As soon as the show began, Ángel de Brito announced that it would be Yanina Latorre's last day as a panelist on the show, news that surprised the audience and marked the end of a chapter that had lasted a decade.
The host welcomed the "angelita" with a hug in the studio and made it clear that this was not just another farewell. Throughout the show, the production team devoted several minutes to revisiting the most iconic moments of her time on LAM: memorable clashes, exclusives, heated arguments, and also emotionally charged scenes that established her as one of the central figures of the broadcast.
"Now we have a party after the show and that's it, we're done", De Brito said at the beginning, while Yanina replied with irony and sincerity: "Someday it was going to end". The relaxed back-and-forth set the tone for the night, marked by affection, teasing, and the on-air rapport they built over the years.
As part of the tribute, the production team gave her a plant and shared a compilation with images of her most memorable fights and the most sensitive moments she starred in on the show. Far from avoiding the past, LAM chose to celebrate it, highlighting the key role that Latorre played in the show's identity.
Toward the end, Ángel de Brito clarified that the panelist's formal farewell will take place on Monday or Tuesday of next week, although Friday's announcement served as a first symbolic closure in front of the audience.
Yanina Latorre spoke about the "mole" on MasterChef Celebrity
Hours earlier, Yanina had also referred to the subject on her radio show, where she spoke in her usual sharp tone about some recent controversies. "I was to blame for everything, until they realized that I wasn't because I was inside cooking. Besides, why would I give the scoop to Intrusos and not to Ángel?", she said, alluding to leaks related to MasterChef Celebrity.
True to her style, she went further and hinted at the presence of a "mole" inside the show. "From the position where the photo was taken, I already know who it was and it's not a producer", she stated, and she ended with a forceful phrase: "When something gets leaked, it's the contestants themselves who tell it because no one else finds out anything".
