The Gordo Dan #YoVotoLLA trend in support of Milei is number one worldwide

The libertarian trend ahead of the elections to renew the provincial legislature, a key factor in defeating Kirchnerism

The strength of La Libertad Avanza is felt not only in the streets and at the polls, but also on social media. Published exactly at 7:21 p.m. this Wednesday, libertarian influencer Daniel Parisini, known as "El Gordo Dan", managed to make the hashtag #YoVotoLLA climb to become and remain the number one global trend, thus consolidating an unprecedented digital mobilization in support of President Javier Milei and his political movement.

This momentum comes at a decisive moment: the province of Buenos Aires is preparing for a double legislative election in 2025. In the first round, on September 7, residents of Buenos Aires will elect half of the provincial legislature: 23 main senators and 15 alternates, along with 46 main deputies and 28 alternates. Councilors and school board members will also be renewed in different districts, thus completing local and provincial representation.

The second round will take place on October 26, as part of the national elections, when the province will elect the deputies and senators who will represent it in Congress. In both instances, La Libertad Avanza arrives with growing expectations of consolidating its power, after sealing a strategic alliance with PRO that leaves Peronism against the ropes.

The electoral climate is heightened by the echo of the recent campaign closing in Moreno, where Milei achieved more than 17 rating points on television and hundreds of thousands of views on social media. There, he delivered a message of unity and defiance against Kirchnerism:  "This Sunday, go vote for your family, for your friends, and for your loved ones. They're trying to take us for fools and we can't let them have their way," the president stated.

In his fiery speech in Moreno, Milei launched harsh criticism against Kirchnerism, which he accused of resorting to desperate methods due to a lack of arguments.  "In total desperation, they go after the family. Imagine how things must be in Buenos Aires province, since they went after my sister. They're clearly scared, and on Sunday we're going to paint the province purple," he exclaimed, sparking an ovation from his supporters.

With a defiant tone, the President left one of the most memorable phrases of the day:  "I grow stronger in adversity." He also warned:  "We're facing the worst of politics, which in a total state of desperation resorts to violence as the only response to the advance of the ideas of freedom. It seems they haven't realized that until the 26th, they can add levels of difficulty that we're still going to overcome."

The president denounced a systematic campaign against the values upheld by his government:  "They want to undermine moral values. They do it crudely, they orchestrate operations, and they end up falling. They want to turn you into a social leper, drag you through the mud, because they're already dirty in the manure. But they won't succeed."

He even recalled the attack he suffered during another event in Lomas de Zamora and linked it to the historical violence of Kirchnerism:  "In Lomas, they threw a cobblestone at me, they could have attacked anyone, they don't care if they have to take anyone's life. Don't forget that filthy Kirchnerism took prosecutor Nisman’s life," he said, in one of the harshest moments of his speech.
