Trudeau's government financed the repatriation of ISIS terrorists' wives

The Canadian Foreign Ministry paid in 2022 and 2023 for the repatriation trips of women who had traveled to Syria to marry ISIS terrorist fighters

Former Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, spent at least $170,000 of taxpayer money to bring back to Canada women who had traveled to Syria to join the ranks of the Islamic State (in English, ISIS), according to newly declassified government documents.

In total, eight women were repatriated by decision of Trudeau's socialist government, who had traveled to the Middle East to join the terrorist organization and were detained in camps after ISIS was defeated in Syria in 2021.

The Canadian foreign ministry decided that they would receive a luxury repatriation. The terrorists traveled in business class and were accommodated at the Montreal Airport Marriott, a hotel that costs $300 per night. Additionally, it is reported that these women racked up exorbitant expenses at the hotel bars at the taxpayers' expense.

The terrorists racked up expenses of more than $3,000 at the hotel.

Thus, in one of the hotel rooms, expenses exceeded $1,000 per night, after the women accumulated a $95 bill just at the bar. Another room totaled an expense of $850 due to charges for junk food and wine.

Taxpayers also paid a bill of nearly $3,000 in catering services that included sandwiches, snacks, and over-the-counter medications from the hotel gift shop.

According to documents from the Canadian diplomatic mission, the terrorist sympathizers had chosen to join ISIS while living in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. Their repatriations began in October 2022 and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Outrage from families of terrorism victims.

One of the repatriated women is accused of terrorism offenses for having joined a battalion that trained women to fight and is awaiting trial. Another already pleaded guilty in July to participating in ISIS operations and was sentenced to only one day in prison.

In April 2023, the Canadian government paid for the return of four women and their 10 children, including Aimee Vasconez, a Canadian woman who converted to Islam and traveled to Syria with her ISIS fighter husband, who died in battle. Authorities state that Vasconez remarried another jihadist and joined a battalion where she received military training.

Ammara Amjad, a resident of Ontario, was also part of that second wave of repatriated women and is currently facing trial on terrorism charges. It is estimated that the cost of this second wave of returns was approximately $132,000 due to "higher than expected hotel costs".

A group of Canadian families who lost loved ones in the September 11, 2001 attacks expressed their outrage upon learning this information. They pointed out that many families have paid out of their own pockets to travel to the hearings of the trials against the terrorists who killed their loved ones, while Trudeau's government funded the repatriation of the wives of these same jihadists.
