Trump's administration denounced the persecution of Christians under Biden's administration.
Donald Trump's administration made a serious accusation against the Democratic government for launching a systematic persecution of Christians
The Trump administration published a preliminary report through the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, denouncing a systematic persecution against Christians during the Democratic administration of Joe Biden.
The report details a series of government actions that allegedly violated the religious rights of Christians and makes recommendations to protect faith in the United States.
This task force was created by President Donald Trump and is chaired by Attorney General Pam Bondi. Its mandate is to identify, correct, and prevent any government conduct or policy that threatens the religious freedom of Christians.

According to the document, under the leadership of Trump and Bondi, the federal government is committed to never again using its power against people of faith. "Faith is not a burden in America, it's a freedom," the report states.
The task force's initial assessment revealed "numerous cases of anti-Christian bias" in several federal agencies during the Biden administration. Among the most notable findings:
- Department of War, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor: Delays, rejections, or improper handling of religious exemption requests regarding COVID-19 vaccination mandates were reported.
- Department of Education: The government was accused of attempting to impose historic fines on Christian universities, such as Liberty University (USD 14 million) and Grand Canyon University (USD 37.7 million).
- Department of Homeland Security: The Customs and Border Protection Office excluded Christian perspectives in a directive for detainees, although it did include considerations for Islam, Rastafarianism, and sects of Judaism.
- Department of Justice (DOJ): According to the report, the DOJ did not prioritize prosecuting cases where there was bias against Christians, and instead prosecuted individuals for praying or protesting in front of abortion clinics, based on their Christian faith. In addition, it is stated that the same law (FACE Act) was not applied to protect religious centers and crisis pregnancy centers.|
- FBI: The issuance of a memorandum was reported in which "radical-traditionalist" Catholics were labeled as potential threats of domestic terrorism.
- Department of the Treasury: It is alleged that several Christian groups were "debanked" for ideological reasons.
- Department of State: The report notes that this department offered little humanitarian aid to Christians abroad, replied less forcefully to attacks against them, and allegedly showed discriminatory labor practices against Christian employees. The imposition of LGBTQ ideology in diplomatic missions was also criticized, including the mandatory use of preferred pronouns and rainbow flags, which, according to the group, violates sincere religious beliefs.
- Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): HUD is accused of removing social media posts celebrating Christian holidays such as Palm Sunday or Easter, while leaving visible posts about other religions or causes such as Pride Month.

Likewise, the report criticizes the elimination of the office of religious initiatives in the Department of Labor, which was replaced by one for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
The task force held its first meeting in April and will continue investigating until publishing a final report in February 2026. Trump also signed an executive order in February to establish the White House Faith Office, which seeks to empower churches and religious organizations in the formulation of policies aligned with American values.
