Trump will cut all federal funding to the terrorists of Planned Parenthood.
The President of the United States announced that he will freeze all financial assistance to the organization that promotes abortion
The administration of Donald Trump plans to freeze millions of dollars in federal funds allocated to family planning organizations, such as Planned Parenthood, with the aim of investigating whether these resources were used in initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
According to the Wall Street Journal, approximately 120 million dollars that were supposed to be allocated this year to organizations like Planned Parenthood are on hold, while it is reviewed whether President Trump's executive orders that prohibit funding activities linked to these initiatives were followed. The pause could be announced this week.
A spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) indicated that the agency is reviewing the beneficiaries of the funds to ensure compliance with Trump's executive orders.

The funds in question come from the Title X program, intended to provide health services to low-income individuals. In this program, about 4 million people receive free services or at reduced prices in approximately 4,000 clinics.
Planned Parenthood, which operates in several states, expected to receive 20 million dollars from this program. HHS has the option to completely rescind those funds or redistribute them.
Alexis McGill Johnson, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, accused the Trump administration of attempting to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers by any means, which could deprive many people of access to contraceptives, gender reassignment surgeries (including minors), abortions, and other crucial practices.

For a long time, conservatives have fought to unlink federal funding from Planned Parenthood due to its advocacy for abortion rights, although federal funds are already prohibited by law from funding this procedure.
During the 2024 presidential campaign, Vice President JD Vance stated that, if Trump were reelected, he would stop funding the organization, and this fund freeze seems to be a first step in that direction, in order to fulfill another campaign promise.
The decision to freeze these funds has caused positive reactions among American society. Although some Democrats and other progressive sectors have opposed it, conservative sectors and the general population see this measure as a signal to fulfill Trump's commitments to his electoral base.
