Marcela Baños opened up on LAM about the old feud she had with Marixa Balli, a relationship marked by distance that was never fully resolved. The host was clear in describing what her relationship with the panelist is like today.

"It's an intermittent relationship," Baños said when asked directly about the topic. And when asked who brings more negativity to the situation, she didn't hesitate: "Her, forget it."

The host recalled the beginnings of both in television, when they shared spaces and worked together. She remembered that they started at a time when they were studying and managing college with work in television.

Shared Beginnings

"It has always been like this," she explained about the dynamic with Balli. Baños detailed her own path: she studied broadcasting, graduated, and ended up doing a casting that led her to Azul Televisión on the show Paseo Tropical. That was the starting point of her career.

She highlighted that the place where they worked is very important to Marixa and that she herself recommends it when she goes on vacation because she knows she likes it and enjoys it. "I have no problem," she stated, reflecting on the importance of managing ego and personal security in such competitive environments.

When comments from Balli about hosting roles were mentioned, Baños responded with irony: "Guys, I am the queen of the dance party." She clarified that she never took space away from her colleague. She recalled that when Azul reduced its programming, they were called to bring Pasión Tropical to América, as part of Siempre Sábado.

"It's the same as many years ago, she has always behaved like this," she said with resignation. She admitted that they crossed paths several times in the hallways of the channels but did not greet each other. "Like when twenty-something years ago I walked by, I’m one seventy-three tall, aren’t you going to see me?" she humorously questioned.
