In the United Kingdom, a Pakistani asylum seeker identified as Kamran Khan, 43 years old, appeared before the Inner London Crown Court accused of repeatedly raping and sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl.
Accusations against Kamran Khan
According to the accusation, Khan allegedly abused the minor on two occasions between September 2024 and July 2025. He is also accused of forcing her to witness a sexual act committed by a third party.

- Two counts of raping a minor.
- Two counts of forcing a child to witness a sexual act.
- Four counts of sexually assaulting a minor.
- Two counts of forcing a child under 13 years old to participate in a sexual activity.

Development of the court hearing
During the hearing, Khan kept his head in his hands while declaring his innocence, with the help of an Urdu interpreter. The court decided that he will remain in pre-trial detention until the start of the trial, scheduled for January 5, 2026, with an estimated duration of seven days.
Magistrate Benedict Kelleher warned the defendant that missing the court date could result in a new offense. He also explained that, if he doesn't appear, the trial could proceed in his absence and his lawyer would have the authority to withdraw, leaving him without representation.

The incident caused shock in South London, where the defendant resided on Streatham High Road, Lambeth. The investigation is ongoing and local authorities have not provided further details to protect the victim's identity.
