PAN Deputy, Kenia López Rabadán, has formally requested the UN to create a committee to verify the serious situation of victims of forced disappearances in Mexico.
The request seeks the UN's collaboration in preventing and eradicating these crimes, which have systematically affected the country. The deputy noted that the discovery of victims at the Izaguirre ranch in Teuchitlán, Jalisco, is not an isolated incident, but a reflection of the humanitarian crisis that Mexico is going through.

López Rabadán expressed her deep concern about the increase in forced disappearances in Mexico. She highlighted that the country is part of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.
According to the deputy, the Mexican government has not fulfilled its international commitments. In her message, the legislator emphasized that with international support and supervision, Mexico could overcome the serious situation it faces.

Through her X account, the deputy called on the UN to get involved in the investigations of the Teuchitlán case. She also demanded that justice be done for the victims and their families.
The deputy pointed out that the federal government has not taken sufficient actions nor with the necessary seriousness to address the magnitude of the problem. Therefore, she requested the UN that the Committee on Enforced Disappearancessend a team to Mexico to document the events.
The committee can conduct assessments, follow up, and issue a report to support Mexican authorities. López Rabadán highlighted the urgent need for an independent, clear, and impartial investigation to solve the case.

In her message, the deputy added that the personal belongings and human remains found at the ranch are a painful reminder of the growing crisis of disappearances in the country.
"This is not just another case," she stated, emphasizing that it is a systematic and increasingly serious problem. She also promised that her PAN caucus will not remain silent and will continue to fight for truth, justice, and a Mexico where these horrors do not repeat.
