Zaira Nara set off the alarm among her followers when she revealed that she had been urgently hospitalized after returning from a brief trip to Europe.
Through her social media, the model said that she had spent several days with physical discomfort and that, once in Buenos Aires, she had to go to a clinic to undergo tests and receive treatment.
In a story posted on her Instagram account, the model showed herself lying on a stretcher with an IV in her arm and explained the reason for the hospitalization.
"I do not know if it was something I ate or some virus. I traveled to Europe for four days and for three I felt very unwell", she wrote, along with the image that quickly caused concern among her millions of followers.
Hours later, the host and businesswoman expanded on the information and confirmed the diagnosis that she received from the medical team.
"To end December, acute gastroenteritis", she detailed, while she reassured everyone by saying that her progress had been favorable and that she was no longer in pain.
"Fortunately today, already in Buenos Aires, they put my mind at ease. Sometimes the body asks to stop a little", she reflected.

Already out of the clinic, Zaira emphasized that she is at home, accompanied by her family. "I am already at home with my children and my mom", she stated, a message that sought to ease the anxiety of those who had been alert to her state of health.
After the episode, the model gradually resumed her usual activity on social media, where she shared snapshots of her recent trip to Europe and also promoted her cosmetics brand, which confirmed her recovery and good spirits.
