Who are the four traitorous deputies who turned their backs on Javier Milei
Marcela Pagano, Carlos D’Alessandro, Gerardo González, and Lourdes Arrieta decided to turn their backs on those who voted for them in order to obey their personal ambitions
The ruling party has once again suffered a fracture in the lower house. Four legislators who entered Congress in 2023 alongside President Javier Milei announced that they will form their own bloc, named "Coherencia," a name that contrasts with their actions: betraying the popular will that elected them as representatives of La Libertad Avanza.
This concerns Marcela Pagano, Carlos D’Alessandro, Gerardo González, and Lourdes Arrieta, who decided to abandon the political project that brought them to their seats in order to focus on internal disputes and personal quarrels.
An excuse to cover up their betrayal
The four deputies tried to justify the split by saying they seek "to maintain coherence and restore the value of their word." However, in reality, their actions only demonstrate a break with the trust of voters and a nod to the same political system that Milei promised to fight.
Each one carries their own confrontation with Martín Menem and Karina Milei, but instead of resolving their differences responsibly, they chose to consolidate a bloc that weakens the ruling party at a key moment for the reforms the country needs.
The case of Arrieta: from deception to accusations

Lourdes Arrieta first presented herself as a victim of "deception" during the controversial visit to the Ezeiza prison. Instead of closing ranks with her colleagues, she ended up accusing deputies from the same group and generating a public internal conflict that only benefited the opposition.
Ultimately, she formed her own single-member bloc and even voted against measures promoted by the government, such as the veto on the disability emergency.
Marcela Pagano: from journalism to scandals
Marcela Pagano, who reached Congress thanks to her personal closeness to Milei, was at the center of one of the most publicized disputes with Martín Menem.
Her frustration at not being appointed chair of the political trial committee led to disgraceful scenes: megaphones in the chamber, insults, and even fights with other libertarian deputies. Pagano went from being a promising figure to becoming a constant source of internal conflict.

D’Alessandro and his clash with Karina Milei
In San Luis, Carlos D’Alessandro showed his true colors when he rebelled against the party intervention ordered by Karina Milei. He went so far as to accuse the government of doing the same as the "casta," forgetting that it was that very political force that brought him to his seat.
His public statements not only put him at odds with the leadership, but also exposed his lack of loyalty to the libertarian project.

González, an aimless companion
The case of Gerardo González is different: his political prominence was almost nonexistent until now. However, he decided to join this new bloc of "traitors", showing that his priority is not the popular mandate but rather to fit into a space that allows him greater personal visibility.

A betrayal of the people who elected them
The formation of the "Coherencia" bloc is nothing more than a low blow to the ruling party and a lack of respect for the voters who trusted Milei and La Libertad Avanza. Instead of supporting the reforms needed to move Argentina forward, these four deputies chose to follow their egos and ambitions.
True coherence should be with the people and with the commitment made at the ballot box, not with internal disputes or personal interests.
