Bolivian authorities detected inconsistencies between the declared reasons for entry and the activities announced by the delegation. The Argentine Foreign Ministry stated that the measure falls within the sovereign powers of each State to control its borders

In a show of authority and defense of sovereignty, the government of Rodrigo Paz halted the attempt of interference by a delegation of Argentine extreme left legislators and activists. The administration of President Rodrigo Paz has given a lesson in firmness by strictly applying the Law No. 370 on Migration. In an operation carried out at the La Paz airport, authorities detected that a group of Argentine citizens was attempting to enter the country without meeting the basic requirements of "itinerary and accommodation".

What they presented as a "Humanitarian Mission" was nothing more than a Trojan horse to register alleged "human rights violations" and thus fuel the climate of violent disturbances that sectors loyal to former president Evo Morales are promoting to destabilize the current government.

In Bolivia, these disorderly militants collided with a renewed and functioning State. The delegation, which initially arrived on flight 701 of Boliviana de Aviación with a connection to the government seat on flight 663, was composed of key figures from Peronism and the Left Front:

Juan Marino: National deputy for the Union for the Homeland bloc.

Vanina Biasi: Leftist city legislator, who was captured in videos attacking local officials at the airport terminal.

Roberto Martín Illanez: Peronist leader.

Matías Gayol: Lawyer and communist activist from the Piquetero Party, currently chief advisor to deputy Juan Marino.

María del Rosario Hasperué: Secretary of Human Rights of the CTA Autónoma in Buenos Aires and a reference on childhood issues.

Matías Ezequiel Bohl: Activist with a communist ideology.

María José Cano: Member of the CTA Autónoma.

Alejandrina Barry: City deputy for the PTS - FIT Unidad.

Facundo Nahuel Arzamendia: Journalist linked to Radio Nacional Córdoba.

Soledad Mara Mosquera: City teacher, General Secretary of Ademys, and activist of Socialist Left.

Cristina Andrea Reile: Lawyer linked to the judicial field and human rights.

Ingrid Natali Urrutia: Political scientist from the MST, delegate of ATE INCAA, and elected city legislator.

Analdo César Villca Tupa: Bolivian citizen accompanying the delegation.

Official support from Argentina

Far from protecting the irregular conduct of these militants, the Government of Javier Milei, through Chancellor Pablo Quirno, confirmed that the Bolivian measure is in accordance with the law due to the blatant contradictions of the travelers.

In an official statement, Quirno was emphatic: "The Bolivian authorities have officially communicated that, during the immigration controls carried out, inconsistencies between the declared conditions for entering the country and the activities publicly announced by the delegation would have been verified". The Argentine official emphasized that Bolivia acted in "exercise of the sovereign powers that correspond to every State to regulate the entry, stay, and exit of foreign persons", thus validating the decision to "not admit the entry of the group members".
